These terms cover using the laundromat, our review prize draw, and using this website.
In the laundromat
By entering the laundromat, you agree to these conditions. They’re also displayed in the shop.
Not allowed in the machines: animal or pet items, for health reasons (penalties apply), and shoes or boots, which damage the machines.
- Unattended laundry may be removed from machines immediately on completion if customers are waiting.
- Customers using our washers have priority access to the dryers.
- Before using any machine, empty all pockets of items such as nails, screws, lighters and pens, and check that nothing is left inside the machine before and after use.
- Management accepts no responsibility for lost or stolen property, damage, injury or accidents. Use this facility at your own risk.
- Always read the washing and drying instructions on the garment care label.
- For a better wash or dry, do not overload the machines.
- Follow the instructions on your detergent packaging. Do not use excessive amounts of suds, as this will affect the rinse cycle. Refunds are not provided for over-sudsing.
- Check machine numbers carefully before making payment. Refunds are not provided for payments made to the wrong machine.
- Tokens cannot be changed back to cash. You may keep any remaining tokens for your next wash or dry.
- Children must be supervised by their parents. Strictly no running inside the premises.
- The vending machine is to be operated by adults only.
- Strictly no smoking, drugs, alcohol, or animals or pets inside the premises.
- Misuse of or damage to the machines will result in a police investigation.
- This facility has 24/7 CCTV cameras and is secured with monitored alarm systems.
Nothing in these conditions excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Review prize draw
Leave a Google review of Hampton Park Laundromat and you’re in the draw to win a free wash and dry.
- Any review counts: good, bad or in between. What you write makes no difference to your chance of winning, and we’ll never ask you to change or remove a review.
- Who can enter: anyone aged 18 or over who posts a review on our Google listing during the draw period. The owner, staff and their immediate families can’t enter.
- Entries: one entry per person per draw, however many reviews you leave.
- Draw period: each calendar month is a separate draw, starting with November 2026. We draw the winner in the first week of the next month, from the reviews posted that month.
- The prize: one free wash and dry: $20 in laundromat tokens, enough for a wash in any of our washers and a dry. It can’t be exchanged for cash.
- Choosing the winner: drawn at random from the reviews posted during the draw period.
- Telling the winner: we reply to the winning review on Google within 7 days of the draw and ask the winner to call us on 0451 352 224 to arrange their tokens. If the prize isn’t claimed within 14 days of our reply, we’ll draw again.
- Your details: we use the winner’s name and phone number only to give them the prize.
- Changes: we may change or end the draw by updating this page. A change won’t affect a month that has already started.
